| This year's PAC Desert Camp was even more fun than last year. This is mostly because the "group" was so much fun to be with. There was Liz, Linda, John (VT), Rick, John (AR), Jim, Jeri (our concierge), George and Terri (fastest tandem on the planet). The weather was nippy at the beginning of the week. Arm and leg warmers were used to deal with the chill. By the end of the week we were in shorts, and Tucson was nearly 90 degrees when we returned there. The wind was constant however. Most days ranged from 15-25 mph, making it more of a challenge than 20 mile climbs. The rides took us to Sonoita, Bisbee, Tombstone, Benson, and Sierra Vista. As usual, the PAC logistics were perfect. Dinners were a blast. We were so loud at El Charro I thought they were going to throw us out! The following pictures should provide memories for years to come. |
